Mentorship

Preparing the next generation of college graduates, community leaders and advocates

What is our mentorship program?

Our non-profit organization provides a mentorship program for high school students in the Coachella Valley Unified School District. Sophomore students in the CVUSD are eligible to apply to participate in the program, which runs throughout the duration of their high school career to prepare them for college, technical college and career-oriented objectives. Our students, or Tees, are each paired with a Tor. Tors are current college students, former graduates or a professional members of the Coachella Valley community.

In our mentorship program, we assess the academic progress of each cohort of students through a focused lens on our three pillars: higher education, civic engagement, and leadership development.
